The New York Red Bulls are in Montreal in Week 14 of MLS 2017, more in hope than expectation of three points. Trips to this particular corner of Canada tend not to yield wins for the Red Bulls. This year, though L'Impact is bottom of the Eastern Conference at the moment, RBNY hasn't won an away game since its opening day of the new season and is not the favorite to win this game.
A draw is perhaps the favorite: two not-there-yet teams laboring over their respective deficiencies in the hope of finding a measure of consistency to take into the summer and the rush for playoff places to follow.
