How to watch Costa Rica vs Panama in 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinals: start time, TV schedule, and live stream

Winner plays (probably) the USA or (less likely) El Salvador in the semifinals.

The Tennessean-USA TODAY Sports

Costa Rica and Panama get the knockout rounds of the 2017 Gold Cup started. In principle, Los Ticos are favorites to progress to the semifinals, but the squad has been hit by a succession of injuries. Rodney Wallace is the latest casualty, and this tournament is an increasingly challenging test of the theory that Costa Rica has one of the deeper player pools in CONCACAF.

Los Canaleros are not at full strength for Gold Cup either, but are at least still more or less able to stick with the group of players they planned to test during this competition. That group includes the New York Red Bulls' Amir Murillo. The 21-year-old full back has held down a starting place throughout the group stage, and will hope his form at this tournament sees him hang on to his role in the team when World Cup qualifiers start up again later this year.

Per livesoccertv.com, here's where to find the game if watching from the USA:
