Bulls Abroad: Michael Amir Murillo and Fidel Escobar start in Panama loss to Honduras

Both RBNY players got through this game unscathed, it would appear.

Honduras beat Panama, 1-0, in Tegucigalpa on November 16. As noted by the Panama Football Federation’s official report on the match, it was the first time Honduras had secured a home win over Los Canaleros since 2010 - perhaps Los Catrachos were due.

The game’s only goal was a 75th-minute penalty converted by Anthony Lozano. Twenty-year-old Andres Andrade suffered the misfortune of conceding the PK within minutes of coming off the bench to win his first cap for Panama.

As expected, Michael Amir Murillo and Fidel Escobar started and played the full 90 minutes for Los Canaleros.

Panama will close out its 2018 schedule with a home game against Ecuador on November 20. New York Red Bulls fans and technical staff may be interested to see how much time on the field Murillo and Escobar are given for that game - since RBNY has the first leg of its 2018 MLS Eastern Conference Final against Atlanta United on November 25.
