Backe Getting Impatient

It seems Hans Backe has finally succumbed to the madness that Luke Rodgers visa saga has forced many a Red Bull fan to.

As per Kristian Dyer at Big Apple Soccer, Backe will only hold out hope for Rodger's return until the end of June.

Backe told Dyer...

"We haven't gotten an answer yet," Backe said.

"Also frustrating because we just need it before the end of June but also for Luke himself to find a club in England when the transfer window opens; he can't just wait and not play."

Rodgers tried to get back into the country in March, but was ultimately denied, despite a glimmer of hope. Then, in remarkably similar circumstances to his March attempt, he filed an appeal a few weeks ago.

Also, so much for the "Corey Hertzog is gone, Luke Rodgers is finally coming!" theory.
