Just as it appeared New York Red Bulls II could be counted out of any serious defense of the USL regular-season title it won in 2016, the slumping II team bounced out of a three-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over Charleston Battery - the top team in the USL Eastern Conference.
NYRB II's game-winning goal was provided by Derrick Etienne - his first of the season in USL or MLS - and it was special. So special that it also won the USL Goal of Week 10 vote - congrats, Derrick!

Etienne is the first NYRB II player to win the goal of the week accolade in USL 2017. He has a knack for highlight-reel moments, so don't bet against him featuring on the league's GotW winners' list again this year.
Everyone's favorite celebration by @detienne_10 is back!
