About a week ago, New York Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch told MSG's Kristian Dyer that trialist Alexy Bosetti might not be near the top of the team's summer shopping list:
We thought he did OK when he was here. We kind of have that on hold a little bit, just to see what else we can get our hands on out there. There's a possibility - we thought he did OK - but I think we've got a good group of guys but I think we need to bring some difference-makers.
But the door was at least still open - until Bosetti himself appeared to close it himself in an interview with Actufoot:
It was a great experience, we parted on very good terms but I should be destined for something else.
Bosetti goes on to say he has "several opportunities" and is looking forward signing with a new team in the near future. But it would seem RBNY is not going to be that team.
