In a further effort to keep the team well-rested for its CONCACAF Champions League ties with C.D. Guadalajara, the Red Bulls are doing a little schedule shuffling, namely - moving a home game against the Houston Dynamo.
On Thursday afternoon, the Red Bulls announced that the Dynamo match, originally scheduled for Saturday April 7th, will now be played on Wednesday August 29th. This in turn will give the Red Bulls much more time to rest between their away leg on April 4th and the home leg on April 10th.

The downside is that the match will force the Red Bulls to play three games in seven days at the end of August. The team will play DC United at RBA on Sunday August 26th, then Houston on the 29th, and then the Montreal Impact on the road on Saturday, September 1st.
The team also announced that the start time for the April 21st home match against the Chicago Fire will be moved from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
Fellow CCL participants Toronto FC made a similar move earlier this week, rescheduling their April 7th home match with DC United for mid-June.
