New York Red Bulls U-23s add Malcolm Dixon to 2017 PDL roster

Another RBNY Academy graduate has come home for summer soccer.

New York Red Bulls U-23s have boosted their 2017 PDL roster to 26 players with the addition of forward Malcolm Dixon.

Dixon is a product of the RBNY Academy. He started his college soccer career at the University of Virgina (with Derrick Etiennein 2015, but transferred to (Luis Robes' alma mater) the University of Portland in 2016. As an academy player, Dixon got looks from the US national youth team set-up from the U-14 to U-20 levels

He saw his first minutes of the 2017 PDL season during RBNY U-23s' 2-0 win over Jersey Express on May 24. Dixon is one of 17 players to have seen time on the field for the U-23s in PDL so far this year.

The team plays its third game of the season on Saturday, May 27, at the Red Bulls Training Facility. RBNY will take on Ocean City Nor'easters in a top-of-the-table clash in the Mid Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of PDL. Both teams have won their first two games of the new season. Kick-off is at 7:00 pm. Admission is free.
