The New York Red Bulls U-23 team plays in PDL: a short-sprint summer season that starts in May and is over by August (at the latest).
The team is all-amateur, mostly players who still have a season or two (or three) of college soccer ahead of them. Several players are RBNY Academy graduates, hoping to position themselves for Homegrown contracts in future. Others are prospects the Red Bulls might land in the MLS Draft, or seek to sign to their USL team when they complete their college soccer careers.
The RBNY U-23s play in the Mid Atlantic Division of PDL. The seven-team Division comprises Evergreen FC, FA Euro New York, Jersey Express, Lehigh Valley United, Ocean City Nor'easters, and Reading United AC.
RBNY U-23s play at the Red Bulls Training Facility. Admission is free.
The team will play a 14-game regular season schedule from May 20 to July 15.
