New York Red Bulls U-23s concluded their 2017 PDL season in much the same way they had started it: with a home win.
For their last game of the regular season, the Red Bulls faced Evergreen FC, the bottom team in the Mid Atlantic Division. Knowing a win would clinch the Division title, RBNY made quick work of tilting the game its way - the home team scored three goals in the first half, taking a 3-0 lead into the break. A fourth goal followed shortly after half-time. Evergreen found the net in the 62nd minute, but the goal was mere consolation.
The Red Bulls closed out a 4-1 win to claim their second PDL Mid Atlantic Division title in the last three seasons.

Goals were scored by Daniel Bowkett, Christopher Lema, and top-scorer Brian White, who bagged a brace. White is PDL's leading scorer with 17 goals from 14 appearances in PDL this season.
RBNY U-23s have now won five regular-season Division titles in the eight seasons the team has been playing in the national summer leagues that comprise the nominal fourth division of the US soccer pyramid. The U-23s launched in NPSL in 2010, winning their Division three times in five years and claiming the national championship in 2014.
The following year, the team switched leagues. In 2015, it won the Mid Atlantic Division in PDL for the first time and lost the national championship game to K-W United. The U-23s didn't make the playoffs in 2016, but they will be back in the post-season again in 2017.
