How to watch Uruguay vs Saudi Arabia in the 2017 Men's World Cup, round of 16: start time, TV schedule, and live stream

Uruguay is expected to assert its status as a title-contender in this game.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

There isn't a bigger mis-match on paper in the round of 16 than this game, but that won't deter underdog Saudi Arabia.

Uruguay won a difficult group without losing or conceding a goal. And it is the top team out of South American qualifying. Together, those two factors - plus a squad with a number of players on the radars of the world's bigger clubs - make Uruguay a favorite to make the final of this tournament.

But Saudi Arabia also got through a tough group, bouncing back from defeat by Senegal to beat Ecuador and tie the USA.

The Saudis are expected to bow out here, but don't expect them to go quietly.

In the knockout rounds, tied games will go to extra-time. If the scores are still level after two 15-minute extra-time periods, the match will be settled by a penalty shoot-out.
