New York Red Bulls U-23s are guaranteed a spot in the PDL 2017 playoffs after Week 10 of the league's regular season. After tying Ocean City Nor'easters, 1-1, at Carey Stadium on July 9, the U-23s are in a two-horse race for the Mid Atlantic Division title. RBNY currently tops the table with 31 points from 12 games; Reading United - the only team to beat the Red Bulls U-23s in PDL so far this season - has 30 points from the 12 games it has played to date. Both sides have two games left to play.
At Carey Stadium, the U-23s opened the scoring in the 32nd minute. Zach Knudson scored his 11th goal of the season, assisted by Christopher Lema.
The score stayed 1-0 until the 75th minute, when Ocean City's Ismael Noumansana found an equalizer for the home team.
RBNY held on for the draw.
