The United States U-20 team is set to take on Panama in the second match of the CONCACAF U-20 Championships. The US took a 1-0 lead against Guatemala in the first match, but dropped two points after giving up a late goal after failing to clear a corner kick. They'll look to bounce back against a Panama side who tops Group A after day one, on the back of a 4-0 victory over Aruba.
Matt Miazga started for Tab Ramos' side at center back in game 1, partnering up with Cameron Carter-Vickers. The pair had a good outing, keeping Guatemala off of the score sheet until a 90th minute goal from Guatemala's Ruiz tied the game. The goal was not the fault of either player as the ball was not cleared far enough away after a corner kick, and Ruiz's blast would've been hard to stop for anyone.
