One player who will not be returning to the New York Red Bulls in 2015 is striker Saer Sene. English Championship club Blackpool announced today that the enigmatic Frenchman is joining the club once he receives international clearance. The deal reportedly lasts until the end of the season.
Sene joined the Red Bulls in August after a trade with New England in exchange for Andre Akpan and allocation money. He made 5 MLS appearances and scored zero goals. His penalty kick miss in a CONCACAF Champions League game against C.D. FAS contributed to the Red Bulls being knocked out of the competition.
