Bulls Abroad: How to Watch Australia vs. Oman in Asian Cup 2015

Tim Cahill should be back in action for Australia against Oman in the Socceroos' second 2015 Asian Cup group stage match.

The first, you will recall, finished 4-1 to Australia, who bounced back from conceding an early goal to secure a comfortable victory, led by Cahill's equalizer (37th goal of his career for his country).

The New York Red Bulls' 2013 MVP has also had a bit of dental work done since we last checked in on him.

Oman's opening game of Asian Cup was a hard-fought 1-0 loss to South Korea. A draw would not have been an unfair result and the Socceroos will have noted that one goal is not sufficient to subdue the Red Warriors. A second consecutive win would guarantee Australia qualification to the next round of the tournament, unless Kuwait unexpectedly upsets South Korea.

The big question going into this match is which Socceroo will be tapped to step in for captain Mile Jedinak, who strained his ankle against Kuwait and will be held out of the Oman game as a precautionary measure.

In Group B, from which (if it gets that far) Australia's quarterfinal opponent will emerge, Uzbekistan opened up with an expected if uneasy 1-0 win over North Korea. And China delivered the first upset of the tournament, beating favored Saudi Arabia, 1-0.
