The United States U-20 team has not gotten off to a good start in the CONCACAF U-20 Championship. They led against Guatemala then let in a 90th minute goal to settle with a draw. They handled a Panama side that put in 4 against Aruba, but couldn't find the net in a 1-0 loss. The goal in that match can unfortunately be linked to New York Red Bulls product Matt Miazga, who got caught ball watch and left the eventual goal scorer in an onside position.
The US look to bounce back against an Aruba side that hasn't fared that well themselves in this tournament. They've lost both of their opening matches by a 4 goals for a total -8 goal difference. They lost to Panama in match one by a 4-0 scoreline, and followed that up with a 5-1 loss against Trinidad and Tobago.
The US will need to not only take advantage of a weak Aruba side, but also put up a lot of goals as they currently sit at a -1 difference. They aren't far off from a playoff spot given that they are only down 3 points with 4 matches remaining, and they still have to face off against two of the teams above them (Jamaica & Trinidad and Tobago).
