Remember the occasion Mike Grella scored his first-ever goal for RBNY, his first-ever goal in MLS, RBNY's 1,000th goal in all competitions, and a match-winner over the Crew in Columbus at the same time?

Of course you do, because the goal wasn't just significant, it was pretty.

So pretty (and significant) it is the winner of Once A Metro's inaugural New York Red Bulls Goal of the Month competition.

Congrats, Mike Grella!

Grella's wonder-chip scooped up 44% of the vote - besting BWP's first goal of MLS 2015 (31%), Lloyd Sam's bullet in KC's Blue Hell (20%), and Sam's blast past Bill Hamid at Red Bull Arena (5%).

All great goals, but only one can be the greatest.
