Brian White named to PDL 2017 Team of Week 7

New York Red Bulls U-23s lost their first game of PDL 2017 in Week 7, but the 2-1 defeat by Reading United was preceded by a 4-1 win over Jersey Express - and that win was made notable by the fact Brian White scored all four of RBNY's goals. He scored his team's goal against Reading as well: a five-goal week was good enough to put the Duke University prospect in the official PDL Team of Week 7.

White has been getting an increasing amount of attention this season in PDL. He received honorable mentions for this season's teams of weeks 3, 4, and 6. And he is steadily rising on the league's Top Prospects list.

The forward has scored 10 goals in RBNY U-23s' first eight games of PDL 2017. In Week 8, the U-23s play Lehigh Valley United on June 21 and Evergreen FC on June 24.
