Some things to keep an eye out for this season...

  • The Red Bulls now have two new destinations on their schedule, with Orlando City and New York City joining the league for their inaugural seasons. Their first match at Yankee Stadium will be on June 28th, while their first match in Orlando will be on July 19th.
  • Speaking of New York City FC, look for there to be a drop in attendance numbers at Red Bull Arena. With a team closer to home, many native New Yorkers are throwing their support behind the Manchester City affiliate. Combine this with some unpopular decisions made by new Sporting Director Ali Curtis, and you have a recipe to lose some fans.
  • Because of conference realignment, the team will only encounter Sporting KC once this season. Toronto FC was bumped from three matches to two, while we now have three matches against the Revs and New York City FC.
  • This marks the fourth season in a row that RBNY starts their season on the road.
