Knudson is the second RBNY U-23 player to appear in PDL's weekly all-league selection. Sean Teixeira was named to Week 4's best XI.
Knudson currently has four goals to his name for the U-23s in 2017, making him joint top-scorer for the team alongside Duke prospect Brian White. Goalkeeper Ben Lungaard and White have appeared in the "honorable mentions" section of PDL's 2017 TotW nominations this season, though Knudson was the sole Red Bull to appear on PDL's list of top players in Week 5.
Knudson's Week 5 hat-trick spurred the Red Bulls to their fourth consecutive win in PDL 2017; they have since won their fifth-straight game - a 2-1 win over Lehigh Valley United was secured on June 7.
