'Angry' Jesse Marsch wants a redder wedding: New York Red Bulls lineup prediction - @ NYC FC, July 3, 2016

A bull is never more dangerous than when it's angry - and Marsch has been seeing red for days.

Andy Marlin-USA TODAY Sports

Despite fielding a very strong starting XI in last week's U.S. Open Cup loss to the Fillies, the team just couldn't keep up the energy against arguably the strongest team in the Eastern Conference, and things snowballed for Jesse Marsch late in the game. Marsch's ejection and sideline meltdown were merely the icing on a cake of pure rage; the RBNY boss and a good portion of the team have been seething since. They'll be out for blood when they take on the New York City Senior Citizens on Sunday afternoon.

The last time the Red Bulls visited Yankee Stadium they won by the narrow margin of 7-0. Too close for comfort in my eyes at least.

Injuries and the need for rest will of course make it impossible for Marsch to trot out the same group of Bulls that contributed to the Red Bull Wedding back in May. However, the exact same starting XI from that fateful game will remain intact.

Here is the Red Bulls Predicted XI vs NYC FC:

GK Luis Robles - The Ironman is back in the net after resting for the Open Cup but will face a much different NYC FC team from last time. Jack Harrison and Frank Lampard are in top form; Robles will need to be also.

DF Connor Lade

DF Aurelien Collin

DF Chris Duvall - Marsch may want to sit Zubar after a disappointing performance against Filly. And Duvall was excellent back in May.

DF Sal Zizzo

MF Dax McCarty

MF Felipe

MF Mike Grella

MF Lloyd Sam

FW Bradley Wright-Phillips

Not much controversy to be found in this lineup, though I have the sneaking suspicion Marsch will make at least one big change from the win in May. Nonetheless, he is desperate for a win and he may halt the tinkering in an effort for another quick start against the Hudson River rabble... I mean rivals.

What do you think?
