The New York Red Bulls won the 2015 Supporters' Shield, and for an overwhelming number of fans, that's enough to call this a successful season.
I conducted a super scientific study comprised of a single Twitter poll and asked people whether they think this season is a success:
Q1) Regardless of what happened in the playoffs, do you consider this season a success? Q2) Peanut butter and -honey -banana -jelly -fluff

How lopsided was the vote in favor of fans thinking this is already a successful season even if the team crashes out in the Conference Semifinals?
As you can see on the pie chart (Mmm... pie), not a single person considers this season a failure so far. A Shield and a CONCACAF bid is good enough for this fan base. And do you know what, they're right! Who would have imagined this team being so successful at the beginning of the year? Not me, that's for sure.
But what about what people like paired with their peanut butter?
Chocolate finished in second place. Interesting. Chocolate and peanut butter. Can't imagine that working.
Also, you people who eat your peanut butter dry are savages. Pure savages.
