Rumor: Queens Park Rangers bid for Tim Ream accepted by Bolton Wanderers

Ream may be moving to London if the rumor mill is right.

The New York Red Bulls' 2010 Defender of the Year may be on the move. HITC.com is reporting "sources" advise Queens Park Rangers have finally submitted a bid for Tim Ream that Bolton Wanderers can accept.

The Lion of the Vienna Suite points out HITC is the site that first carried the news of Bolton's having signed Prince-Desir Gouano - so we have some cause to believe in HITC's sources with regard to Bolton Wanderers' transfer dealings.

This is not official word from either club, and Ream himself will have some say in whether or not he moves to London, but it is indication that QPR's interest in the American defender has not been diminished. Earlier this week, Bolton head coach Neil Lennon confirmed his club had received bids for Ream from QPR and Fulham, but had rejected the offers. If the objective was to solicit higher bids from the interested parties, the most recent rumor would suggest Bolton has successfully persuaded its fellow Championship clubs to take a more generous view of the value of the player.

Further details will no doubt be forthcoming in the near future.
